The Search Area

The Company has previously identified an area of approximately 10,485 square kilometers of ocean floor located in international waters suitable for search for sunken ships and lost cargo. The specific area is deemed suitable resultant from the research through historical documents throughout the world, including the West Indies. Though the area appears to the company to be rich in promise and potential, there are no guarantees or warranties that the services provided to the Buyer will be fruitful in discovery of antiquities and/or artifacts.

Upon the discovery of any artifact of sufficient value, the company immediately shall perform all requisite acts to facilitate the designation of the company’s exclusive Rights of Salvage, as defined by international law. Excavation of the site(s) shall be made along accepted maritime archeological guidelines.

The Matrix: The company has created a virtual search grid (hereinafter “the matrix”), more fully described at www.oceanographica.com. The area depicted in the matrix is within a long established ocean trade route historically used by sea-faring nations where the company’s research has revealed a strong potential for a concentration of sunken ship wrecks and their concomitant cargo which ships sank over a period of several hundred years.

Each Search Area in the matrix represents an area which the Buyer may select for the company to search on Buyer’s behalf and each Search Area in the matrix has it own separate number identifying an exact location in the matrix of the search area.

In order to protect the location and potential sites of sufficient value, the precise latitude and longitude of the search are will remain confidential and known only to the company and an independent accounting firm, completely unaffiliated with the company, until the entire search and recovery, if any, is completed.

Upon the discovery of site(s) of sufficient value which warrant recovery, again, in the sole discretion of the company, the company shall use its best efforts to affect recovery.
