Remains of the galley

This was once the galley, the wood structure of the ship dissolving leaving the contents exposed. Notice the hourglass... untouched for about 200 years. A real "crime scene" investigation!

coconuts among wreck

Here it is. Lots of coconuts, and a kitchen stove!

Contents of wooden box

What was once the contents of a large wooden box, totally dissolved, from the captain's cabin. Can you see the gold box sitting on the gold and silver coins?

Box of coins

Here is the gold box and its contents. It also contained a newspaper from 1808 Kingston, Jamaica with advertisements for slave plantations.
